DATA PROTECTION

Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular importance to us. We therefore process your data exclusively in accordance with the relevant legal provisions (GDPR, DSG, TKG 2021). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the key aspects of data processing in connection with our website.

1. Contact with us

If you contact us via the form on our website or by email, we will store the details you provide so that we can process your enquiry and in case we need to follow up with further questions. We will not pass on this information without your consent.

2. Server-Logfiles (Infrastructur)

The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. This includes:

  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address (collected in anonymised or pseudonymised form)

This data cannot be linked to specific individuals. We do not combine this data with data from other sources. We reserve the right to review this data at a later date should we become aware of specific evidence of unlawful use.

3. Cookies and web analytics

Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device via your browser. They do not cause any harm. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device, enabling us to recognise your browser the next time you visit. You can delete cookies from your internet browser at any time.

For all cookies that are not technically necessary (such as marketing or analytics tools from Google, Meta, etc.), we obtain your active consent in advance via our cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent there at any time.

4. Google Analytics

We use the web analytics service Google Analytics on our website, which is provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

Google Analytics uses technologies such as cookies or device IDs, which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by these technologies regarding your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there. By default, Google Analytics does not collect IP addresses, but truncates and anonymises them within the EU before any forwarding or storage takes place. Nevertheless, it cannot be ruled out that data may be transferred to the parent company, Google LLC, based in the USA. An adequacy decision by the European Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) is in place for the USA, and Google is certified on its list.

Withdrawal: You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect via the cookie settings (cookie banner) on our website..

5.Data processing in IT services and consulting

As part of our IT consultancy and services, we process personal data relating to customers, prospective customers and partners in order to fulfil our contractual and pre-contractual obligations. This includes master data (e.g. names, addresses), contact details (e.g. email addresses, telephone numbers), as well as contractual and project data.

Where we gain access to our customers’ IT infrastructure in the course of IT support, system analyses or maintenance work (remote or on-site), this is done exclusively for the purpose of troubleshooting or system optimisation. In such cases, we generally act as a data processor, for which we enter into separate data processing agreements (DPAs in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR) with our customers.

6. Webmeetings

We use remote maintenance and web conferencing tools (e.g. Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Next Cloud Talks) to conduct consultations, presentations and provide remote technical support. When using these services, technical data (e.g. IP address, connection details, video and audio data) is processed. By participating in such a meeting, you consent to the processing of this data.

7. Confidentiality and Data Security (Technical and Organisational Measures)

We place great importance on IT security. All data we process is protected against unauthorised access, loss or manipulation by means of state-of-the-art technical and organisational measures (TOM). These include, amongst other things, end-to-end encryption of data transmission channels (SSL/TLS), strict access controls, the use of firewalls and antivirus software, and regular training for our staff on data protection.

8. Your rights

You generally have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, data portability, withdraw consent and object to the processing of your data by us. Please contact the data controller (see point 9) in this regard.

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with us or the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
